If you're a sports fanatic looking for an exciting career doing what you love, we have just what you need. Like working with people? Try coaching. Have a knack for leadership? Become a stadium operations manager. Have strong communication skills? Work in public relations or marketing. The possibilities are as big as your dreams.
In just three months, you'll build the foundational skills to get your foot in the door of an entry-level position. Additional courses in Sports Finance, Leadership, and Marketing may be taken by qualified UCP students.
This program is 7 units and can be completed in 3 months.
What You'll Learn
- Methods for improving engagement, innovation and flexibility of staff, and ways to motivate and empower employees.
- Fundamental marketing and communication tools for effective branding and promotion.
- Operational aspects of running and overseeing a sports facility.
What Can You Do
Positions are available in the sports industry, including sports networks like ESPN, athletic apparel companies, sales and advertising companies, marketing and public relations firms, and other organizations. They might include:
- Athlete Representative/Agent
- Sports Public Relations Specialist/Director
- Athletic Director
- Head/Assistant Coach
- Director/Assistant Director of Stadium Operations
- Sports Marketing Specialist
- Professional Sports Manager
- Sports Information Director
Who Can Attend
Admission Requirements:
- TOEFL score of 550 (80iBT) or IELTS score of 6.5.
- Minimum age: 18 (or high school graduate).
- No degree required.
- This is a full-time program.
- You must obtain F-1 (student) visa.

Recommended Housing
