University of California at Riverside is part of the 10-campus University of California system, which is one of the world’s largest and most renowned centers of higher education.
UC Riverside is a major research university and national center for the humanities. It is also known as the UC campus with the personal touch and its 1200-acre park-like campus is one of the most beautiful of the University system.
With an enrollment of approximately 17,000 students, 15,000 undergraduate and 2,000 graduate students, UC Riverside offers 78 undergraduate majors, 50 master’s degree programs, and 38 Ph.D. programs.
The campus is made up of the College of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences; the College of Natural and Agricultural Sciences; the Marlan and Rosemary Bourns College of Engineering; the A. Gary Anderson Graduate School of Management; and the School of Education.
Internationally famous for service, teaching and research achievements, UC Riverside has been first several times in the U.S. for the number of its faculty accepted to the prestigious American Association for the Advancement of Science. |
