Student Life - Transportation

The public transportation system includes buses and trains.

You can rent a car if you are at least 21-25 years old (age requirements depend on the company's policy).  To be able to rent a car, you need to have a valid driver's license, and a major credit card.

You are able to take buses and/or trains, but you need to be aware of the schedules and the itineraries in advance.  You also need to consider the fact that using the public transportation system is slow and you might need a lot of extra time to reach your destination.  You might also have to take more than one means of transportation.

Transportation to and from local airports may be arranged by the Transportation Office, for an extra fee.  Ten days' advance notice is required; otherwise, an additional Short Notice Fee applies.
