Receiving and Using a NetID

Net ID

The University of California, Riverside IEP Program participates in a campus-wide identification system that uses a NetID to provide student access to the campus wireless network and online resources.

The step-by-step process for acquiring a NetID can be found on the UCR Extension website.

A list of frequently asked questions regarding NetID is available on the UCR Extension website.

Receiving your NetID

To set up your NetID, you will need to use a temporary Login ID and password that will be e-mailed to you. It is important that you create a NetID as soon as possible as these are only to set up your account and may not be used to access your online courses.

You will receive a second e-mail message upon completion of the NetID process.

If you have questions or need assistance setting up your NetID, please e-mail netidhelp@ucx.ucr.edu. Online support is available Monday–Friday, 9 a.m.–9 p.m. Pacific Time. You will receive a response within two hours.
