Housing - American Family Homestay
American Family Homestay
IEP runs its own Homestay Family Program. Families are carefully
selected through a rigorous screening process, they must attend
a comprehensive orientation session and are constantly being
evaluated by the students.
All participating families must provide room, three meals
per day, and transportation to and from school during weekday
classes and on weekends for university sponsored activities.
Families may live a 10-20 minute drive from the UC Riverside
campus.
English as a Second Language School is a starting point for ESL learners who want to improve their English. It is one of the most comprehensive and well organized ESL schools in the USA.
In the Homestay Family Program, students have the opportunity
to learn about and experience first-hand the American culture,
learn English outside the classroom and develop long lasting
friendships.
