Helping Students Fulfill Their Dreams
For over 30 years, International Education Programs at UC Riverside has offered English language and professional programs to students from around the world. The success of our programs is due in large part to the work of overseas representatives who understand the educational needs in their region, help us develop programs that meet those needs, and help students navigate the complex world of education systems and immigration processes. UCR IEP is a member of the American Association of Intensive English Programs (AAIEP) and the University of California International Programs consortium.
UCR IEP is proud to be part of an innovative research university. UC Riverside is ranked as a top tier national university as indicated by the U.S. World News and Reports and is the fastest growing UC campus in the University of California system.

High-quality programs: Our International Education Programs are very diverse and there is something for every student. We also offer customized English programs for specific groups such as businesses, and international institutions.

Internship opportunities: Our postgraduate diplomas offer a one quarter internship which provides students with invaluable work experience in their fields.

Paid work opportunities on campus: we value our students and want to support them by giving them part-time work experience. A variety of student worker positions are available throughout the year to qualified students.

Paid Training: students who successfully complete any of our 9 month certificate and diploma programs are eligible for Optional Practical Training, which allows you to work in a paid training position for up to one year anywhere in the U.S.

Extensive experience with international students: IEP was started in 1975 and since then has been one of the most successful international education programs in the U.S.
