Global Business Management - GBM

2 to 10-week Programs
A comprehensive exploration of the issues of management in a global business environment. The intensive course is structured into five two-week modules concentrating on the latest management practices and strategies in focused daytime sessions involving lecture and discussion. Case studies and site visits to Southern California corporations and other places of professional interest are integrated into the program to provide an exposure to American business practices. Participants have the opportunity to network with professionals from the USA and several other countries.

The course is designed to be responsive to changing management trends and business practices. Individual topics are reviewed, revised and updated continuously.


English on business

Modules
Each module is structured to provide an overview session at the beginning, with each topic presented over one or two days. The five 2-week modules may be taken independently or together as a full package program.

Requirements of Course
Discussion and interactive exercises, role-playing, presentations, case studies, and reading of required and optional texts. Attendance at a minimum of 85% of the class meetings is required. Participants are expected to contribute to discussions and presentations with insights gained from their professional and educational experiences. Attire is expected to be “casual” professional.

Instructors
The instructors and guest speakers are faculty and business professionals with experience and insight into the most current global business practices.

In order to keep current with changing management trends and business practices, individual topics are reviewed and revised on a regular basis.

Language Requirements: English language fluency at score 523+paper or 193+computer TOEFL® or TOEIC® score 700+ and TSE® score 45+.
