University Preparation Program
Undergraduate, Graduate/MBA programs

University preparation program

This program is designed for those who want to study at an American university. Students are encouraged to take one campus class with American students. Program offered in 10-week sessions. Advanced English language skills required.

All participants must take a placement test on Registration Day in order to demonstrate the required advanced English proficiency. If your test results show high intermediate or lower proficiency, we will advise you to take the Intensive English Program instead.

UCR class (for credit) with American students at no extra charge. (Extension classes available year-round; degree classes available in fall, winter and spring only.
Undergraduate, transferable University of California credit.
Institutional TOEFL® & TOEIC® exams offered every quarter.

Riverside International Transfer Track
The International Transfer Track is a cooperative program between two California state institutions: University of California, Riverside (UCR), and Riverside Community College (RCC).  For students who are not eligible to enter UCR directly from high school, this program offers an opportunity to transfer to UCR after two years at RCC, and to graduate from UCR.
