General Information
Global Nursing Review Program is a combination and enhancement of programs the University of California, Extension, Riverside, and the California Community College system have been doing for years. We have re-combined and updated existing programs into a 9-month certificate program for international nurses. International nurses may now have one-year Optional Practical Training (OPT) upon successful completion of the program and passing scores on the TOEFL and NCLEX exams with salaries beginning at $40,000 per year.
UCR Extension has over 32 years’ experience working with international students and professionals and many years doing courses for Registered Nurses (RNs). The California Community Colleges have not only had successful nurse training programs but have also been offering NCLEX review classes for international nurses living in California and have raised the pass rate for these nurses from 50% to well over 80%.
This 3-quarter intensive Global Nursing Review Program should ensure an even higher pass rate and, in addition, graduates of this program will be able to understand western medical practices and philosophy and be able to communicate effectively with medical personnel and patients in an American hospital.
