The GLOBAL HOSPITALITY MANAGEMENT (GHM) intensive post-graduate diploma program, designed in academic partnership with American Hotel & Lodging Educational Institute, AH&LA (EI), is for young professionals who want to enhance their knowledge and understanding into one of the fastest growing industries in the world. Explore the opportunities in the field by earning a University of California, Riverside, International Education Programs certificate and a Hospitality Management Diploma from American Hotel & Lodging Educational Institute.
GHM program consists of 12 courses offered over six months (quarters one and two) and a three-month internship program (quarter 3). Upon successful completion, participants have the option to apply for Optional Practical Training.

Five two-week modules are offered each quarter. Each module consists of practical knowledge in addition to academic theory, project presentations, discussions, case studies and field trips. To earn the Hospitality Management Diploma from AH&LA (EI) and UCR IEP’s Post-Graduate diploma in Global Hospitality Management, participants are required to take all 10 modules (12 courses) and pass the final exam at the end of each course with a score of 70% or higher. The internship program includes the two-week course "Service Leadership in a Multicultural Workplace" which develops cultural awareness and skills necessary to succeed in today’s global community.
Individuals with a limited amount of time may take modules on an individual basis and earn a course certificate from AH&LA (EI) and UCR IEP.
