Located on the campus of the University of California, Riverside,International Education Programs (IEP) offers a wide variety of English language program, career programs and special programs for students and professionals.All programs are offered on a year-round basis. The duration of each Englishprogram varies from three weeks to one year and special programs may be arrangedfor any length of time for groups of 15 or more who have particular interestsor scheduled. IEP instructors are competent, friendly and dedicated professionals.They have extensive experience in teaching international students and manyof them have lived abroad. Academic facilities include modern and comfortableclassrooms, language and computer laboratories equipped with the latest technologysoftware. The institutional TESOL exam is offered twice each quarter. Specialservices include airport pick-up, program orientation, housing assistance,immigration assistance, social activities, short tours in Southern California,and placement in American universities. The 1200-acre tree-shaded campus isone of the most beautiful of the university system, and it is located in Riverside,a safe, friendly town.

Improving Oral Fluency : Englishprogram allows those in advanced level to enhance their speaking and listening.Forbusiness people, students preparing for American universities, teachers oranyone wishing to improve his spoken skills.

English for International Business : Helps participants learn basic American business practices whileacquiring ESL skills advanced learnes would need in an academic or professionalsetting.

University Preparation Program:English for those who want to study at an American university.Special curriculumavailable for those interested in MBA programs. Students are encouraged totake one campus class with American students.

Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) Program: For those who would like to teach Englishor for those who already teach it in their own countries. Classes presentnew developments in TESOL and improve teaching skills.

Design-Your-Own Program: Forthose who have an advanced skills and want a program individually tailoredfor special needs. Any combination of English as a Second Language classes, campus classes and/or regularcertificate programs offered by UC Riverside.

Conversation & American Culture Program: For those who have only 3-4 weeks for language studyaged 10 to adults and wish to improve speaking and listening skills.

Professional Programs: Short-termdaytime certificate programs designed for an international audience of professionalsinterested in the fields of management, environmental sciences, agriculture,education, and science.Includes on-site visits.
