EBJ Program
“ This program changed my life.
It is a very good opportunity
to learn a lot of things.”

Yohei Okamoto, 20
Business Administration
Kyoto-Sangyo University
Fourteen
students from Kyoto-Sangyo University majoring in Business
Administration, Economics, and Jurisprudence traveled 5,741
miles
to Riverside, California to spend 13 weeks in UC Riverside’s
EBJ program.
The students spent the first 10 weeks honing their English speaking
skills. This prepared them for their visits to American companies,
courtrooms, police departments and government buildings.
They
met and interviewed marketing directors, judges, police officers,
mayors, city officials and a host of other professional
people.
When
the 13 weeks were over, the students returned to Kyoto-Sangyo
University with group PowerPoint
presentations to present to
their faculty back home.
